Vermi-Bag “Mini”
Mini only in Name….The Vermi-Bag Mini is our most popular system and was made with Teachers and Parents in mind. The Vermi-Bag Mini is not too big or too small and can easily fit into your kitchen or other living area without being intrusive. With approx. 3 Cubic Feet of Volume and 1.6 SF of surface area, it can still support a large worm population. It should easily process all the organic wastes from a typical household of 4, once you get the system running with a good worm population. As with all Vermi-Bags, it is a flow thru system, meaning you “feed the top and harvest the bottom”. There is no need to empty the entire contents of the bag to harvest. You simply open the bottom of the bag and harvest the finished castings.
The Vermi-Bag Mini normally comes standard with the Vermi-Window, but there is an option to purchase the bag without the window as well. The Window allows you to take a look into the world of the worms. This is perfect for teachers or parents to show their kids how the worms process waste. It is amazing to watch a piece of cantaloupe or avocado, disappear in a matter of a couple days.

Vermi-Bag “Max”
The Vermi-Bag Max is our largest composting system available and was designed for the Serious VermiComposter. This is a High Production Bag and it’s the largest fabric composting bag commercially available. This thing is Big….Really Big, with over 5 Cubic Feet of Volume and a surface area of 4 square feet. The “Max” can support a very large worm population and can easily process all the organic wastes from most households once you get the system running with a good worm population. With a footprint of only 30”x 30” it takes up a surprisingly small amount of space for the amount of worms it can hold. As with all Vermi-Bags, it is a flow thru system, meaning you “feed the top and harvest the bottom”. It’s now easier than ever to harvest your castings, simply unzip the bottom of the bag and pull your finished castings out.
