Vermi-Bag “MAX”
The Vermi-Bag Max is our largest composting system available and was designed for the SERIOUS VERMICOMPOSTER. This is a High Production Bag and it’s the largest fabric composting bag commercially available. This thing is Big….Really Big, with over 5 Cubic Feet of Volume and a surface area of 4 square feet. The “Max”can support a very large worm population and can easily process all the organic wastes from most households once you get the system running with a good worm population. With a footprint of only 30”x 30” it takes up a surprisingly small amount of space for the amount of worms it can hold. As with all Vermi-Bags, it is a flow thru system, meaning you “feed the top and harvest the bottom”. It’s now easier than ever to harvest your castings, simply unzip the bottom of the bag and pull your finished castings out.
We highly recommend installing the Vermi-Bag Max on a wooden stand as the bag can weight in excess of 300 lbs when fully loaded. Simple instructions and videos on how to build the stand are available on our website.
Butterfly straps are not included with the “Max” as we are assuming you will build a wood stand. If you intend on installing it on a PVC stand…the butterfly straps can be purchased separately HERE.
Featuring the New “Zippered Harvest Panel”. ….No more fighting with knotted drawstrings and trying to tighten the bottom for worms won’t escape. The harvest panel is simple to open…simple to close and nearly escape proof. Harvesting castings has never been this easy. The Panel is designed with an inner liner to protect the zipper from water and dirt and it also tapers to provide a restriction in the bag allowing you to open the bottom completely without fear of the entire contents of the bag coming out. You can literally harvest the bag with one hand if needed……It’s that easy.

Quality Materials
All Vermi-Bags are Constructed with combination of Cordua 1000d, 500d nylon and/or 800d Polyester Canvas. This is the same types of material that they make high end backpacks and sail cover out of.
Zippered Top
Zippered top to keep pests out of your bag and the worms in. This tough breathable nylon top is installed with YKK zippers and double pulls, so you can position your zipper where you want whether you’re right or left handed.
Harvest Panel
The Zippered Harvest Panel is arguably the simplest harvest system available anywhere for collecting castings. Simply unzip the panel and pull out the desired amount of casting …then zip it shut. The Harvest Panel also features an inner liner that protects the zipper from water and dirt. The inner liner also tapers so you can open the harvest panel completely without worrying about the entire contents of your bag coming out.

Interior seams are hand sealed to ensure your Vermi-Bag continues to look good for years.
Each Vermi-Bag is individually handmade and it is possible for the customer to customize the bag as desired. There is no big factory making these….they are all done one at a time in our small studio.
